project: AFSIM

AFSIM is a modeling and simulation framework designed for rapid scenario composability spanning multiple domains from the engineering to the mission level. It is a government-owned, Department of Defense open source, community-informed military simulation framework. Its multi-domain capabilities range from sub-surface to space, including electronic warfare and cyber.

Stellar Science is working with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to expand and improve AFSIM’s core capabilities for space and multidomain operations. We are expanding its testing, demonstration, training, and reference material to help give the user community a stronger foundation for scenario construction, verification, and validation. We are also expanding and supporting AFSIM tools such as Warlock for operator-in-the-loop simulations, and Mystic for visualizing AFSIM results.
